My birthday blog It was not the first time I celebrated my birthday out of home..but definately the first time in rome. It was a usual day..at first. We all woke up late due to the excitement of knowing our placement result s the day before. Michelle had a funny nightmare too. After breakfast, we went to the morning market. Many stalls selling fruits, vege, clothes etc. yuenkhai was actually the first to wish me. He bought me a necklace and claim that he’d repay for the belated birthday present I gave him. -.- michelle, and huiling both bought some bangles and necklace too. In fact, huiling bought 6 shirts for herself. Hence the nickname Shopping queen. Then, ben bought each of us a pesca (peach), huge and delicious. Happy… ^^ After that we went jalan-jalan, and drank what’s supposed to be the best coffee in rome. I ordered cappuccino. am no coffee expert but it tasted quite okay. ben's gona b freak up. lol.. Anyway, we had to stand and drink at the bar, sitting in costs much more. Then we ate gelato (ice-cream)…yum…but we all agreed that fassi has the best gelato so far. Continue jalan-jalan as huiling shop on. Lol. Then my slipper broke…of all days..got so sui meh! Well..things are not always what it seems to be. Turns out not so sui..5 of em actually shared and bought me a puma slipper..ex ne. thank you all.. *touched* thank you ben. He may be harsh and very straight forward at times but deep inside he’s a very sweet person. Yea..overall I’m really happy to have to meet such nice friends..my birthday was simple and nice.. In the evening, we sat at the plaza novani with our gelato..just chilling. Then we started sharing stories and jokes. Now I know why yuenkhai always cry when he part from his family. We have a lot of similarities but a totally opposite family background. It is true what he says..now the world, especially the younger generation don’t see the importance of trusting God and putting Him first in our life. I believe they will one day discover it with the help of the holy spirit. Anyway, I really enjoyed weilin’s joke which huiling shared..chicken nut bread and ahmerica. LOL! Once again I would really like to thank ben luke, michelle, Mervin,huiling and yuenkhai for letting me join em in the middle of their eurotrip. They were really nice.. never once did they left me out during the whole trip..which I was a little worried about. Thank you ben luke for doing all the research and preparation that made the trip extra spicy and educational. Thank you michelle for being so entertaining. She’s a really pro-photographer too. Somehow, she reminds me of sheahlin.. Thank you huiling.. the cute and pro-find place to sit super shopper. No doubt shopping Queen. Believe me.. Thanks mervin for carrying water bottles for us in ur bag..carrying my luggage too. Must be heavy. Really enjoyed the stories that u shared especially bible stories.. and thank you yuenkhai for inviting me to join u guys in rome and paris. Thanks for carrying my laptop and luggage too. He’s someone that u can depend on and will be always there to help. Thank you ben, michelle, Mervin, huiling and yuenkhai for making it a fun, meaningful and memorable trip… |
